Belle United FC was formed by a collection of
friends United by a common desire and purpose
for football and social related interest as far
back as 1996. In its formative years, the club
adopted Victory Primary School off Toyin Street
ikeja, as its playing ground before it relocated to
Avian Maria Montisorri school Opebi,Lagos as its
membership grew. presently, the club's home
group is at the Customs Training Field off Toyin
Street Opebi. However, we gathered that plans
are ongoing to establish a permanent home
ground for the club.
The association is formed as a social football club
for young and vibrant executives who come
together on weekends and public holidays to
exercise and keep fit away from the ever busy
work life of the metropolis.
The growth and keen interest in exercise led to
formation of the club as an organised
association.
The club over the years has evolved as a social
football club, playing matches locally and
internationally.
Among others, the club provides assistance to
members in social area and finances.
