New executives has been elected to run the affairs of the Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria (GOMAN). The election which took place on Thursday 11th of August, put at the helms of affairs of the musicians’group, distinguished musician, like Lady Evang. Funmi Aragbaye who emerged as the New President and Evang. Lanre Teriba who was elected the 1st Vice President.
The association that has been struggling in the past for recognition, seems better positioned to positively launder the flailing image of the
association with the involvement of people like Lanre Teriba, Femi Opalemo and the rest who have proven their mettle in the industry.
Evang. Lanre Teriba, had initially hinted at his decision to contest which he said was out of his conviction that the Nigerian gospel music industry
need repositioning to be able to perform competitively with their circular music counterpart, with his election into the position of Vice President of
GOMAN, it is believed he will bring his wealth of experience into play to help position the association for a better future.
