It was a great day yesterday in Epe as hundreds of people gathered to receives the dividends of democracy that has been in focus about a year ago through the establishment of youth empowerment scheme program launched by the member of house of Representatives,Epe federal constituency,Hon. Wale Raji to empower and cater for the jobless youth in Epe and its environ.
Nothing less than 300 youths were empowered yesterday after the completion of their 6 months intense training that was sponsored by Hon.Wale Raji through his YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SCHEME that was launched few months after he was elected as member house of Reps.
Hon. Wale Raji said he is glad to embark on such program as his little contribution to alleviate the suffering of the people as well as addressing the unemployment problems facing the youths in Epe.
It will be recalled that the Youth Empowerment Scheme is one of the campaign promises of Hon.Wale Raji that if elected,he would engage the youths in various area so as to be self dependent.
The occasion were witnessed by Royal fathers and prominent political gladiators ,among which are :Representatives of the Governor of Lagos State,Hon. Abiodun TOBUN, HRM,Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun,Oba Shefiu Adewale and some other baales and chiefs.
